More than £1,200 worth of power tools were stolen from an empty shop unit being worked on by contractors.
Police are appealing for information after the break-in at Lowry Plaza, in Hanbury Road, Bargoed.
The theft happened sometime between 7pm on Tuesday, December 27 and 7.30am on Wednesday, December 28.
Gwent Police said the thieves broke into the property through its back doors, which face onto Morrisons’ car park
