Blackwood Miners’ Institute welcomed 15,337 audience members over the festive period, smashing all previous ticket sale records.
The ever-popular Christmas pantomime saw audiences captivated by a tale as old as time in Beauty and the Beast.
Throughout December, the Rainbow Valley Productions Team performed 48 shows.
Cllr Ken James, Cabinet Member for Planning, Regeneration and Sustainable Development said: “It is no surprise that this superb show has surpassed last year’s ticket sales. Each year we welcome Owen Money and his production team to the county and each show is better than the last drawing audiences in their thousands.”
