Business leaders from across Caerphilly County Borough got their chance to question Welsh Government ministers on plans to revitalise the Valleys.
The meeting, held at Tredomen on January 9, was organised by the ‘Valleys Taskforce’ – a Welsh Government initiative aimed at tackling poverty and deprivation in the South Wales Valleys.
More than 50 people attended the event, hosted by Alun Davies AM, Minister for Lifelong Learning and Welsh Language.
Mr Davies, who chairs the taskforce, said: “We had a great discussion with business leaders and other taskforce members on opportunities for growth in the future.
“I’d like to thank all those who came along and I really enjoyed listening to businesses in Caerphilly shape the thinking of the Valleys Taskforce.”
