Police would like to speak to this man in relation to a theft at Ysgol Y Lawnt in Rhymney

Police are searching for a man following a theft from a primary school in Rhymney.

Officers would like to speak to the man, pictured, after two purses and a Vauxhall Zafira car were stolen from Ysgol Y Lawnt in Rhymney between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday March 14.

The car’s number plate read DL10 UWS, but police are warning they could have since been changed.

Anyone with information can call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 425 14/3/17.

    And yet another story about crime in our valley, we need more police on our street, to prevent this kind of thing
