Gwent Police is appealing for information following a hit and run in February.

Officers are attempting to identify two people from dashboard camera footage after they ran from the incident.

Their red car collided with a Land Rover on a lane connecting Argoed and Manmoel on February 12, just after 3pm.

The Land Rover was written off, but the driver was uninjured. Police have been unable to trace the current owner of the red car.

The dashcam footage from the Land Rover can be seen below.

Anyone who recognises the two people or has further information can call Gwent Police on 101, quoting log 345 12/02/17, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The Land Rover was written off……and I thought Land Rovers were rough tough go anywhere do anything machines yet this one is written of by some lightweight hatchback, which then drove away, and although Gwent police have pictures and presumably the registration number they still can’t find them – no surprise Gwent police couldn’t find their own back side in the dark.
