A Pontllanfraith man has raised £1,060.85 for Velindre Cancer Centre by having his hair and trademark beard shaved off.
Chris Horswill, 68, underwent the transformation last month at Iconic Hair and Beauty Salon on Llanarth Road, in Pontllanfraith.
Mr Horswill, who is the Secretary of Cwmcarn Angling Association, said his grandchildren no longer recognised him.
