A care home in Abertridwr has been voted as one of the top 20 recommended care homes in Wales in the carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards for the third year in a row.

HC-One’s Abermill Care Home in Abertridwr was voted for by residents and their relatives, and is one of six HC-One homes in the top 20, joining Trafalgar Park Care Home in Nelson and Parklands Care Centre in Bedwas.

The carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards 2017 are based on over 45,000 reviews received from residents and their family and friends between July 2015 and 31 March 2017.

Homes are scored on their overall standard, facilities, support, activities, and security.

Abermill Care Home Manager, Leah Mort, said: “We are so pleased and feeling very proud to have received the carehome.co.uk award for the third year.

“We all work well as one family here at Abermill which allows residents to feel at home. Abermill welcomes all families and friends to join us.”

With many care homes receiving adverse publicity in this day and age it is great to see HC- One setting a first class example !
Well done to all staff !
