A heartbroken family is appealing for help to trace their missing pet dog after it was reported stolen.

Daisy, a six-year-old bichon frise, is believed to have been stolen from a garden in Warne Street, Fleur-de-Lys, on Saturday, April 22, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.

Owner Diane Hughes said the family has been left devastated and is offering a reward if Daisy is found and returned.

She said: “Some people might think it’s just a pet, but she’s not – she’s part of the family. Daisy is like a queen in our house – myself, my daughter Danielle, and everyone is devastated.”

The bichon frise is microchipped and has been reported as stolen on the associated database.

Anyone with information about Daisy, pictured below, can contact the Hughes family on 07856846132.
