Playscheme for children living in Penyrheol, Trecenydd and Energlyn to begin this week

News | | Published: 14:44, Monday July 24th, 2017.

A free summer playscheme for children living in the Penyrheol, Trecenydd and Energlyn areas is to begin tomorrow.

Paid for by Penyrheol, Trecenydd and Energlyn Community Council, the playscheme will operate from Cwm Ifor Primary School, which will have 60 places available, and Hendre Junior School, which will have 40 places.

The summer playscheme will launch tomorrow, Tuesday, July 25, and will run for four weeks. It is open for children aged between five and 11.

The number of places are limited, so allocation is on a first come, first served basis.

For more information and how to sign up, contact Helen Treherne, clerk of Penyrheol, Trecenydd and Energlyn Community Council, on 029 20 830666.
