Maintenance work on Ford Road Riverbridge and Ford Road Footbridge, between Tir-y-Berth and Fleur-de-lis, will be taking place over the next few weeks.

A road closure will be in place until Friday, October 13 with Ford Road Riverbridge closed to vehicles with a diversion in place.

Pedestrians will still be able to use the footbridge, although when there are closures for work, people will be able to walk across the Riverbridge.

Marton Civil Engineering Ltd will undertake the works on behalf of Caerphilly County Borough Council.

A spokesperson for the council said: “Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience these essential works may cause.”
