Police would like to speak to this woman regarding racial abuse in Rhymney


UPDATE: The woman in question has been identified by police.

Police are investigating reports of verbal abuse in Rhymney.

A 28-year-old man was subjected to alleged verbal racial abuse on High Street in Rhymney at around 9.30am on Saturday, September 2.

Officers from Gwent Police would like to speak to the woman pictured in relation to the incident.

• This article was amended on Tuesday, September 19, after Gwent Police changed its appeal to reflect the nature of the incident. The force has apologised to Caerphilly Observer over any confusion.
