“He was a boy who lived life to the full, but had a sensitive, caring and kind heart. Heaven has gained a good one. Sleep tight butty.”

A very sas indeed and my heart goes out to the young lads family. Although i dont know the full circumstances of the this tragic accident i do feel that its an accident waiting to happen. So many young people have these off road bikes now adays but they have no where to ride them safely, instead they ride them on the road like bicycles. On the estate i live you see so many zig zaging in and out of traffic, ive seen so many near miss. We must have legislation to prevent people buying these bikes unless they have somewhere to ride them safely. When i had my farm as long as people asked i would allow them to ride on my land. The off road bikes at the moment on our roads are crazy the police must do more to stop them

Gwent Police have consistently failed to deal with the issue of off road bikes – blaming health and safety saying it is unsafe for riders;the public – which prevents their officers pursuing offenders.
I agree – but doing nothing is not an option either !
Get out into the community speak to local residents and find out the addresses where these machines are kept and are being used from.
