Blackwood band the Manic Street Preachers won the Inspiration award at this year’s Q Awards.

The music magazine honoured the band for their contribution to music over the last 25 years.

The group, made up of singer and guitarist James Dean Bradfield, bassist Nicky Wire, and drummer Sean Moore, played a 75-minute greatest hits set after the awards ceremony held at Camden Roundhouse in London earlier this month.
