Town discounts available for festive shoppers with voucher booklet

News | | Published: 09:32, Thursday November 30th, 2017.

A scheme to tempt Christmas shoppers into the town centres of Caerphilly County Borough has been launched once again by the council.

The local authority has published a voucher booklet featuring more than 100 in-store discounts and offers from retailers in Caerphilly, Blackwood, Bargoed, Risca, Ystrad Mynach, and other areas.

The ‘Choose the High Street’ scheme has been organised by the council’s town centre management team and follows similar campaigns in previous years.

Cllr Sean Morgan, Cabinet Member for Economy, said: “I am pleased that once again Caerphilly County Borough Council is working with local retailers to encourage residents and visitors to choose the high street this Christmas.

“Our local town centres are home to a range of retailers offering high quality products, years of expertise and first class customer service. I hope people take advantage of the great variety of offers available this year.”

Residents and visitors can pick up a copy of the voucher booklet at the following locations:
• Bargoed – Morrisons, Poundworld and the library.

• Blackwood – ASDA, Maxime Cinema, Tidal Stores, Blackwood Miners’ Institute and the library.

• Caerphilly – Asda, Morrisons, Visitor Centre, Wetherspoons and the library.

• Risca – Tesco and the library

• Ystrad Mynach – Tesco, library and Penallta House

The offers contained within the voucher booklet can be used until Saturday, December 30.
