Come along and welcome Santa to the county borough this Christmas by taking part in the annual River of Light Lantern Parade in Caerphilly.

The parade will then be held at 6.30pm on Thursday, December 14.

Beginning at Caerphilly railway station park and ride, the parade will make its descent down to Caerphilly town, lighting up Station Terrace, Cardiff Road and St Fagans Street on its way to the finale on Crescent Road.

The parade will finish with a beautiful fireworks display over Caerphilly Castle.

The parade is free and everyone is welcome to share a magical evening with residents and visitors alike and admire the wonderful lanterns that will be on display throughout the event.
