Runners wanting to take part in this year’s Caerphilly 10k race have until the end of the month to get cheap entry.
The popular event, sponsored by Bryn Meadows and organised by the council, returns on Sunday, May 20.
The “early bird” offer sees entry frozen at 2017 prices until the end of January – £19 for full unaffiliated entry and £17 for concessions and affiliated runners.
Following this, prices will rise to £20 for unaffiliated entries and £18 for concessions and affiliated runners.
Entry to the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 2km run is unaffected and remains at last year’s price of £6.50.
The course will lead runners in and around Caerphilly town centre.
Deputy council leader Cllr Sean Morgan said: “The Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10km is one of the highlights of our annual events programme, attracting thousands of people to Caerphilly from far and wide to participate in what has become one of the largest 10km run events in Wales.”
