HISTORIC: Llancaiach Fawr celebrated 25 years as a living museum in 2016

Llancaiach Fawr Manor has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Day Out’ category for the 2018 UK Heritage Awards.

The grade I listed manor house was nominated for its “innovation and creativity”.

The manor has been shortlisted for the award alongside Kensington Palace, Blenheim Palace and Whitby Abbey.

Cllr Sean Morgan, Cabinet Member with responsibility for tourism, said: “Their fantastic work has built up Llancaiach Fawr Manor’s reputation as a wonderful family day out. I wish them the very best of luck”.
