The Caerphilly-based Thomas Carroll Group has appointed a Senior Business Development Executive.

The insurance broking, wealth management and health and safety group has welcomed Jo O’Keeffe into the role.

Ms O’Keeffe will work alongside Thomas Carroll’s Group Development Directors and ex-Wales Rugby players Brynmor Williams and Rob Jones MBE, to manage corporate business relationships and progress future growth areas across South Wales and further afield.

Joining from the Development Bank of Wales and with more than 30 years’ experience working at NatWest Corporate and Commercial Banking, Jo has worked with some of Wales’ leading and largest organisations.

Ms O’Keeffe will be supporting Thomas Carroll’s business activity across all six of the Group’s offices, bringing a wealth of financial services knowledge and senior-level relationship management experience to the new position.

Ms O’Keeffe said: “There is a buzz around the group with development initiatives taking place in line with new office locations and trade sector specialisms like cyber. I’m looking forward to adding value and being part of the wider business strategy.

“I have known many of the team at Thomas Carroll for several years from previous business relationships and am pleased to join a client-centric business with plenty of ambition.”

Brynmor Williams, Group Development Director at Thomas Carroll said: “Relationship building is an important part of our business and we’re delighted to have Jo on board.

“It is an exciting time for Jo to join the team, especially with expansion taking place in the regions in which we operate.”

Thomas Carroll has offices in Newport, Swansea, Haverfordwest, Hereford and London in addition to the headquarters in Caerphilly.
