A man at a taxi rank was pushed backwards from the wall he was sitting on and punched in the face during an assault in Blackwood.
Police are appealing for information on the attack which happened on Gordon Road. The incident happened at around 2am on Sunday, May 6, although police have only just issued the appeal.
The victim, who suffered a cut above his eye, was sat on a wall outside a taxi rank when he was approached by two men.
The attackers are described as wearing red ties and white shirts and officers believe they may possibly belong to a sporting club.
Police are investigating and want anyone who may have information to call them on 101 quoting log 81 6/5/18.
