Around 3,000 fans headed to Caerphilly Castle on Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16, for double-header of live music.

The Bootleg Beatles wowed Fab Four fans on the Friday, while Brighton legends The Levellers proved What a Beautiful Day Saturday was.

The events were the first live music shows to be held at the castle since Ocean Colour Scene and Tony Hadley back in 2016.

A spokeswoman for promoter Orchard said: “The event was a great success with over 3,000 people attending over the two days.

“The weather held out and the acts were amazing with the Castle backdrop bringing a completely new experience for the fans and performers alike- unique to say the least.”

Next month rock band Thunder will be taking to the stage on Friday July 13, however that show has sold out.
Tickets are still available for ska night with The Selector and The Beat featuring Roger Ranking being held on Saturday, July 14.
