Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

News | | Published: 19:00, Friday August 31st, 2018.

‘George Michael’ is at Newbridge Memo

Imitation, they say, is the sincerest form of flattery and over the next two months music lovers will be able to get a taste of their favourite artists with four top tribute acts.

Friday, September 7, sees Newbridge Memo play host to Robert Taylor as George Michael.

Robert has been impersonating the legendary singer, who sadly died in December 2016, since 2013 and is widely considered to be the best tribute artist to the former member of Wham!

A professional vocal artist of 15 years, Robert’s voice, according to his website, had always been compared to George Michael.

Being a lifelong fan he decided to put together a tribute show for the singer and people can see for themselves the results at Newbridge Memo.

Tickets cost £7 in advance and are available by calling 01495 243252 or visiting www.newbridgememo.co.uk.
