Find out what funding is available for your community group

News | | Published: 13:17, Friday October 5th, 2018.

Caerphilly Assembly Member Hefin David is holding a funding advice surgery for community groups and organisations.
It is being held in his constituency offices in Bargoed YMCA on Monday, October 8 from 10am to 1pm.

Dr David said: “When I was a councillor for the St Cattwg ward I was chair of a management committee that secured a £400,000 Big Lottery investment in Tir Y Berth Village Hall.

“I know how painstaking the work can be to secure funding, so that’s why I’m hosting the surgery.

“Most local groups are organised by volunteers who don’t get paid, but do so out of the love for their cause.
“We should recognise and support the work of every volunteer in our communities.”

The event is being held in conjuction with the Big Lottery Fund, Arts Council of Wales, GAVO, Heritage Lottery and Sport Wales.

If any group would like to attend, they can call Hefin David’s office on 01443 838 542.
