A 50-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash in Bedwas, Gwent Police has confirmed.
On Tuesday, October 23, at around 6.10am, police were called to a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a car near Bedwas House Industrial Estate in Bedwas.
The rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital for treatment, but sadly passed away on Saturday, October 27.
Police have named him as 50-year-old Jason Davey from the Pontypridd area and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or any motorists with dashcam footage near to the location during the time of the crash to contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 33 23/10/2018.
