A 32-year-old man has been charged following an alleged gang rape in Abertridwr.
Hemin Kamal Salimpirik, of High Street, Abertridwr, has been charged with rape and was due to appear before Newport Magistrates’ Court this morning, Friday, November 30.
Two 28-year-old men from the Cardiff area, who were also arrested by police, have been released pending further investigation.
A 32-year-old woman was raped at a property on High Street, Abertridwr, by several men. The attack is thought to have happened sometime between around 4pm on Saturday, November 24, and 9am Sunday, November 25.
On Sunday, the house where the rape took place had its windows smashed by members of the public.
