A 40-year-old man has suffered a fractured and dislocated ankle after being assaulted on Hanbury Road in Bargoed.
The incident happened between 9.30pm and 10pm on Friday, February 22.
The man was assaulted as he walked home, having reportedly walked past a group of teenagers before the incident.
He was taken to Prince Charles Hospital for treatment following the assault.
