Office space is now available at Blackwood Miners’ Institute as a result of a partnership with Indycube – a community interest community which runs co-working office spaces.

The Institute’s Oakdale Suite now offers office spaces to freelancers and self-employed workers.

Free tea, coffee and wifi is provided to those who book a desk through Indycube and Blackwood Miners’ also have meeting rooms available if needed.

Cllr Sean Morgan, Cabinet Member for economy said: “This partnership working will provide much needed office space in the local area for those working on a self-employed basis, as well as making good use of the Council’s existing assets.

“This communal office space is also a great way to encourage networking among local businesses and I hope it proves to be a popular option for those seeking desk space in the area”.
