A daycare centre for adults with complex disabilities is set to hold two open days in Caerphilly.
TouchBase, which is run by Sense Cymru, is located on Caerphilly Business Park and will welcome prospective users and their families to see the facilities.
The open days will run from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, April 6 and Friday, May 10.
The centre has a sensory garden, two sensory rooms, a music room, a dark room, an independent living kitchen, two large activity rooms, a soft play area, pamper suite, and an inclusive technology suite.
Kate Wright, Resource Manager at TouchBase Cymru said: “The open days are a chance for people to come and have a look around at the facilities to see what we can offer. They are particularly useful if people are looking for suitable adult provision when their child or young adult leaves school.”
TouchBase Cymru opened in Caerphilly in March 2016 and offers daycare for people with complex disabilities such as learning difficulties, cerebral palsy and visual and hearing impairments.
The centre employs 35 members of staff and has roughly 30 people use the service each day.
