Man attacked after car crash near Bedwas Bridge roundabout

The incident happened on the A468, near Bedwas Bridge Roundabout

Police are appealing after a man was attacked near the Bedwas Bridge roundabout.

The man, who had just crashed his black BMW into a lamppost on the A468, was attacked by two men who were driving behind him in a blue Astra.

The two men punched and kicked the man, giving him cuts and bruises, before taking his wallet.

The incident happened at around 2.15am on Wednesday, April 3.

A 28-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of robbery, has since been bailed.

Police described the first offender as a heavily-built white man who was wearing a light coloured t-shirt, while the second offender is described as a white man with short spiked hair, who was wearing a tracksuit and trainers.
