Armed police officers were called to an address in Abertridwr following reports of a man with a knife.
Officers were called to an address in William Street at around 11.25am today, Tuesday, April 30.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: “Officers were dealing with an incident at an address on William Street in Abertridwr following a report of a man with a knife.
“A 28-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of affray.
“No other individuals were involved.”
