There were also a number of cookery demonstrations, with chefs from The Cwm a Mynydd Local Kitchen and Artisan Cooks Barbecue Demonstrations sharing their skills.
Laura Saiz, Carla Garcia Rico and Maria Ramos, who are all from Spain and were staying in Cardiff over the weekend, came to Caerphilly for the food festival.
Ms Ramos said: “This is wonderful, we were so impressed when we walked through the town and then to see the amazing castle, it is very impressive. We spent a few hours in the castle and now we are trying some of the food from the festival.”
