Alcohol and cash stolen in sports club break-in

Police would like to speak with this man following a break-in at Wexa Sports Club, Crumlin

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at Wexa Sports Club, Crumlin.

The break-in happened overnight between 11.30pm on Wednesday, April 24, and 8.05am the following morning. Gwent Police have only just asked the public for its help.

Police said they think the intruder broke in by forcing a cellar door.

Alcohol was stolen from behind the bar, a quantity of money was taken from the till, and the snooker tables in the premises and the bar area were vandalised.

Officers would like to identify and speak to the man pictured n the CCTV image.
