Filming for the new series of television drama A Discovery of Witches has taken place at Caerphilly Castle.
The Sky One show is returning for its second season and is expected to hit screens next year.
Filming took place at the castle on Monday, September 16 and Tuesday, September 17.
The first season of the show, which is based on the All Souls book trilogy by Deborah Harkness, came out in 2018.
The show is made by Bad Wolf, a Cardiff-based production company which is also behind His Dark Materials and Beddgelert.
Downton Abbey and The Crown star Matthew Goode, who plays vampire Matthew Clairmont, and Australian actress Teresa Palmer, who plays witch Diana Bishop, were among the actors filming scenes at the castle.
The cast spent numerous hours filming a scene on a rowing boat in the moat.
The 13th century venue has been used as a filming location for an array of films and television shows, including Doctor Who and HBO’s The Bastard Executioner.
The castle was also used for scenes set in the Tower of London in The Spanish Princess, which was produced by American network Starz and was about Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII.
The Grade I listed building was also used as a filming location in the 1995 Hollywood blockbuster Restoration, which starred the likes of Robert Downey Jr, Hugh Grant, Polly Walker and Ian McKellen.
