New legal expert joins Caerphilly-based JCP Solicitors

Business, News | Rhys Williams | Published: 17:00, Saturday October 26th, 2019.

JCP Solicitors’ latest recruit – Charlotte Perkins

A legal expert with experience in fighting the cases of people affected by asbestos-related conditions has joined Caerphilly-based JCP Solicitors.

Associate solicitor Charlotte Perkins in now a member of the company’s personal injury team.

Over the course of her ten-year career, Ms Perkins has helped some of her clients receive more than half a million pounds in compensation, with asbestos-related mesothelioma clients typically receiving more than £100,000.

She has also fought for funding so clients could access potentially life-prolonging treatments that are unavailable on the NHS.

Keith Thomas, Director and Head of Personal Injury at JCP Solicitors, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Charlotte to our team. Her record of successfully representing clients with mesothelioma speaks for itself and I know she brings complete commitment to every case she handles.

“Many of Charlotte’s own relatives have worked in heavy industry, and some have suffered asbestos-related conditions themselves, so Charlotte brings a genuine understanding, a zeal and a compassion to her work that I know JCP clients will appreciate.

“Her appointment adds another important specialism to the injury services team at JCP, which is already known for its exemplary work, particularly within the field of head and brain injury and birth-related injury.”
