A calendar showing pictures of Llanbradach past and present has gone on sale ready for 2020.

The calendar will cost £5, with proceeds going towards the Llanbradach defibrillator appeal fund.

The calendar is available to buy from a number of locations across Llanbradach, including the Post Office, the Chip Shop on Glenview Terrace, Savera Cafe, the Wingfield pub, Wingfield Stores, Old Comrades Club, Ebeneezer Chapel and Sadie’s Hair and Beauty Base.

The calendars will also be available in Ystrad Mynach from Ashburne’s dry cleaners, the Spar and Veg of Evans.

In Caerphilly town, the calendars will be available from the Caerphilly Visitor Centre, Glanmor’s Cafe and Bakery, and P.H Gay and Sons on Cardiff Road.

The 2019 calendars helped raise £700, with £382.50 being donated to Llanbradach and Pwllypant Community Council to pay for Christmas lighting in the village.

Llanbradach resident Andrew King, who makes the calendars, said: “Free delivery as always can be arranged if local.

“We can also post anywhere in the UK for £1.70 per copy. Further afield it will be posted at cost. Payment by cash, cheque or now PayPal.”
