A tribute show dedicated to the King of Rock and Roll – Elvis Presley – will be held at Blackwood Miners’ Institute on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25.

The show, called Elvis: The Legend Lives On, will start at 7.30pm on both nights.

The show will star multi-award winning Elvis tribute act Gordon Davis.

Davis will be performing with a live band and is expected to sing some of the Mississippi-born icon’s greatest hits, which include Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, All Shook Up and Return to Sender, among others.

It is estimated that more than one billion Elvis records have been sold worldwide.

During his lifetime, Elvis won three Grammy awards, as well as the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tickets cost £17.75 and are available online from obv.sr/bmi or by calling the box office on 01495 227206.
