A woman involved in a row at Caerphilly’s Toby Carvery has been fined by magistrates.

Sarah Louise Pritchard, 36, of Mountain View, Pwllypant, appeared before Newport Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 14, and admitted a single charge of assault.

In December, Caerphilly Observer reported how a fight had broken out between two women at the Toby Carvery, which is off the Pwllypant roundabout.

The court was told how the defendant approached the other woman involved in the row and had grabbed her by the wrist.

Magistrates fined Pritchard £54 and ordered her to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and prosecution costs of £85.
