An education and training company has opened its newly-revamped headquarters in Ystrad Mynach – celebrating its 16th year in business.

Educ8 Group invited Caerphilly Assembly Member Hefin David to cut the ribbon at the new-look, fully-branded training facilities on the first floor of Tredomen Gateway last month.

Dr David said: “It’s incredible how far Educ8 has come in the past 16 years and the huge impact their team has made on people’s lives through apprenticeships.

“Supporting recruitment and upskilling in local communities, as well as employing local people, is what Educ8 is all about and that has to be worth celebrating.”

Grant Santos CEO of Educ8 Group, said: “I joined the organisation when it was still very young and I’m so proud of the way it’s managed to keep its core values close to the heart throughout some rapid growth.

“In the last year or two we’ve acquired the hair and beauty training specialist ISA, ranked as the sixth best small employer in the UK according to The Sunday Times and been nominated for a number of national FE Week AAC awards.

“We’re proud of our team, we’re proud of our learners and we’re proud of the local employers that we work so closely with – now we can be proud of our training facilities too.”
