A jobs fair will be held at Caerphilly Leisure Centre

A jobs fair will be held at Caerphilly Leisure Centre from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, March 12.

Now in its fourth year, the Live Vacancy event aims to help young people aged between 16 and 24 who are looking for employment, education or training.

The event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Youth Service, in partnership with Careers Wales.

Among the employers attending the fair are South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Network Rail, Welsh Government and the British Army.

University of South Wales, Coleg Gwent, ACT Training and the Job Centre will also be attending the event.

Cllr Sean Morgan, deputy council leader and cabinet member for regeneration, said: “I am so pleased to see the return of the Live Vacancy event for its fourth year in a row. At Caerphilly Council, we are committed to providing education and employment opportunities for all our young residents, and we are delighted to be able to work with our partners in Careers Wales again to be able to do this.”
