A Peter Pan pantomime, starring Owen Money, will be screened in Pontllanfraith over Christmas
A Peter Pan pantomime, starring Owen Money, will be screened in Pontllanfraith over Christmas

A drive-through pantomime screening of Peter Pan will be coming to Pontllanfraith this Christmas.

The pantomime, which stars Merthyr Tydfil-born comedian Owen Money, is usually held each year at Blackwood Miners’ Institute, but had to be cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead, the drive-through screening of a pre-recorded show will be held on the site of the former council offices in Pontllanfraith.

There will be two screenings each day between December 19 and Christmas Eve, and again from Boxing Day to New Year’s Eve.

There will be space at each screening for 60 cars to attend.

The pantomime is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council, alongside Firefly Cinema Club and Rainbow Valley Productions.
