In June last year, 36-year-old mother-of-one Sarah Hall was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
Sarah, from Caerphilly, was diagnosed with poorly differentiated neuroendocrine cancer with small cell differentiation – and has undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy in recent months.
However, before Christmas, Sarah found out the cancer had spread to her liver.

A fundraiser has been set up to raise money for Sarah to see specialists in either London or Germany for further treatment, which is unavailable on the NHS and will cost around £30,000.
She is hoping to have the treatment after her second cycle of chemotherapy at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
While the cancer will be with Sarah for the rest of her life, the treatment would prolong her life, meaning she will be able to make more memories with her three-year-old daughter Jessica and husband Chris – who she’s been married to for 12 years.

Sarah’s friend, Billie Attard, set up the fundraiser, which has so far raised more than £23,000.
Billie described Sarah as “well loved” and called her “the most caring, kind, beautiful person who has given her life to help other people”.
Sarah worked as a preoperative assessment nurse at the University Hospital of Wales, and has battled cancer before.
In 2011, aged 26, Sarah was diagnosed with colon cancer. After an operation and chemotherapy, Sarah was cancer-free for nine years before she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time last year.

As part of fundraising efforts, raffles and lucky dips have been hosted through Facebook, with a number of local companies offering prizes.
Sharon Colcombe, who is part of Sarah’s extended family, will be shaving her hair off on February 14 to help raise money.
Sharon said: “My heart wants to give Sarah hundreds of pounds but my purse won’t allow it, so I have decided to do my bit and brave the shave.
“Sarah is not far off my daughter’s age and I want to do everything I can to help raise money.”
