Blood donation hubs are returning to Caerphilly County Borough this month, the Welsh Blood Service has announced.

Pontllanfraith Leisure Centre and Bryn Meadows Golf and Spa Hotel near Maesycwmmer will host the hubs.

When will the blood donation hubs be open?

Pontllanfraith Leisure Centre – Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16

Bryn Meadows – Wednesday, February 24 and Thursday, February 25

Pontllanfraith Leisure Centre – Monday, March 8 and Tuesday, March 9

Bryn Meadows – Wednesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 18

The Welsh Blood Service is appealing for first-time donors to attend the donation hubs, as well as people who have donated blood before.

The organisation is also appealing for people with the blood types O- and A- to donate.

Travelling to a blood donation hub is classed as essential travel.
