Bedwas-based aircraft engineering firm AerFin Ltd has signed a deal with airline Cathay Pacific Airways to dispose of retired planes.
The Hong Kong based carrier will sign over its fleet of 11 A340-300 which has reached the end of its working life.
The agreement will see AerFin acquire the aircraft over a three-year period and used for spare parts.
The first A340 will be delivered in March 2015.
