Caerphilly woman with swine flu dies

A 55-year-old Caerphilly woman has become the first person in Wales to die with swine flu.

The unnamed woman was first admitted to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport on August 2 and was later transferred to an intensive care unit in Cardiff

The Welsh Assembly Government has confirmed the woman from Caerphilly county borough died on Saturday following circulatory complications.
