Cuts to voluntary sector “foolish”, says council committee

Proposals to cut funding for three voluntary sector organisations by 40% are “foolish” and need to be reconsidered, a cabinet committee has said.

The Wales Air Ambulance was called to Caerphilly earlier today as part of a medical emergency.
