The Meadows Farm Village is an interactive animal experience for all to enjoy.
We are situated in Gypsy Lane, Groeswen, CF15 7UN. We specialise in offering a unique experience to interact with a mixture of farm animals. Our animal family includes raccoon dogs, meerkats, wallabies, peafowl, horses, shetlands, prairie dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys, turkeys, chickens, ducks, black swan, Chinese geese, miniature pigs, goats, alpaca, rhea, emu, cows, reindeer and a number of reptiles including tortoises, royal python, corn snake, gecko and a bearded dragon.
The Meadows spans over 21 acres, providing not just an animal interaction but also opportunities for a natural countryside experience, which can be linked with ease to forest schools and the current National Curriculum for schools.
The farm opens for entry from 10am and closes at 6pm.
Pricing
Our standard package for a booking of 30 children includes general farm entry with access to our petting areas, which consist of rabbits, guinea pigs, goats and pigs. The price for this package is £7 per child with teachers going free.
Our premium package consists of the standard package plus a feeding experience with a variety of our animals as well as a reptile encounter in small groups of six to seven children at a time. This package is priced at £10 per child with no charge for staff.
We also have a shuttle bus available if required to assist you down the lane.
Schools will have access to our undercover coffee shop seating area to consume packed lunches, however lunch can be provided upon request.
