The Caerphilly Business Club Expo was held at Llancaiach Fawr

On June 20, Caerphilly Business Club hosted its much-anticipated annual event – The Caerphilly Business Club Expo.

Held at the picturesque Llancaiach Fawr Manor, it was nothing short of spectacular.

With all exhibition stands sold out, and more than 200 enthusiastic attendees, the day was buzzing with energy and opportunity. The event offered a platform for diverse local businesses to showcase their products and services – fostering invaluable connections within the local business community.

The event began with an engaging networking breakfast featuring Rhys Thomas, former Welsh international rugby player and inspirational speaker.

Rhys captivated the audience with his journey of resilience and transformation, leaving everyone motivated to tackle challenges head-on.

Attendees were also treated to informative workshops throughout the day. Highlights included a social media workshop by Hannah Isted, author of The Best 90 Days Ever, which was met with enthusiastic participation.

The atmosphere was electric during the speed networking sessions, where participants swiftly exchanged introductions and ideas, further enhancing collaboration among businesses.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better day,” said event organiser Kelly Whitefoot of TownSq Admin Support.

“The weather was perfect, and the enthusiasm from everyone attending was infectious.”

Crafty Legs Events, the event sponsor, played a crucial role in ensuring its success, alongside the impeccable hosting by Llancaiach Fawr Manor. Their support contributed to creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.

Reflecting on the day, CBClub Chairman and Assistant Principal at Coleg y Cymoedd, Matthew Tucker expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this year’s Expo a resounding success.

He said: “It’s events like these that showcase the vibrancy and potential of our local business community.”

As the sun set on a day filled with networking, learning, and inspiration, attendees left with new connections and a renewed sense of purpose. Plans are already underway for next year’s expo, promising even greater opportunities for business growth and community engagement.
