Last year the restaurant, on Castle View, Caerphilly, was crowned take away of the year, adding to its previous victories in 2018 and 2019 when it won top restaurant.

The awards, organised by Oceanic Creative, celebrate the top culinary destinations in Wales.

Robi Ahmed, from Castle Gate, said: “We are so incredibly proud that Castle Gate won another prestigious award last year.

“This year we aim to continue to build on our reputation for outstanding food and hope you can join us with your loved one this Valentine’s Day.

“We look forward to welcoming you.”
