Get help managing your community group or sports club with a free 12-month Clubetter trial

Running a sports team or similar group locally can be complex at the best of times. Keeping members up to date for the benefit of a common cause can be a huge challenge for volunteers, who often have limited availability themselves.

Caerphilly-based Clubetter is keeping community clubs connected countrywide, and now it can help yours too – as Caerphilly Observer readers get the app totally free of charge.

Software company Datris has brought the ‘clubhouse environment’ to life online with Clubetter, a mobile app where community clubs, groups and societies of all shapes and sizes can communicate, make payments, share documents and more – and all in one place.

Clwb Sboncen Caernarfon – Caernarfon Squash Club – is using the app, which was developed in-house from the Datris office at Welsh ICE, to improve communication between its members and move away from multiple social media platforms in use elsewhere.

Trystan Larsen, club secretary at Clwb Sboncen Caernarfon, said: “We were keen to improve communication and forge deeper links between players, and have found that Clubetter has helped us to achieve this. There’s a buzz around us at the moment – things are happening all of a sudden – and Clubetter is most definitely a part of that.”

The app allows specific individuals, a select group, or anyone and everyone involved in a club, group and society to communicate with each other or club officials directly in a single, secure environment online.

Now those who created the app are giving sports, arts, faith, cultural and other community clubs locally the chance to try the app for themselves, with a free 12-month trial offer exclusive to Caerphilly Observer readers only.

Dave Taylor, Founding Director at Datris, said: “Clubetter helps you comply with data regulations, offers Dropbox-like functionality for easier club management, and with easy to understand explainer videos and direct support available every step of the way, takes just five minutes to set up.”

“This is a membership platform which does what it says on the tin and makes your club better – it’s the easiest app to use, saving you admin time when organising activities and events, sending out news and taking payments from members, amongst other things.”
