Gerwyn Price remains firmly in the Premier League Darts play-off hunt, despite an agonising defeat in the Night 7 final in Dublin.
Price, from Markham, stormed into a 5-0 lead against Luke Littler in Thursday night’s showpiece, but the teenager staged a stunning comeback to claim a 6-5 victory.
En route to the final, the Iceman cruised to a 6-0 quarter-final win over Josh Rock, before beating reigning Premier League champion Luke Humphries 6-1 in the semis.
Price currently sits third in the eight-man standings, behind Littler in second and Wales’ Jonny Clayton in first.
Premier League Darts returns for Night 8 in Berlin on Thursday March 26, where Price takes on Gian van Veen in the opening round.
