Rugby field vandals will be prosecuted, police warn

Vandals behind criminal damage at Bargoed Park will be prosecuted, Gwent Police has warned.

Former Bargoed RFC captain Rob Butcher has been named the new chairman of the Welsh Rugby Union.

Rugby clubs across the county continue to face an uncertain future with the season cancelled and income all but dried up.

In a letter addressed to the clubs, WRU chairman Gareth Davies said: “We are all in this together and, together, we will see it through.
